The San Francisco 49ers are gearing up for an electrifying start to the 2025 NFL season, and the energy in Santa Clara is palpable. With nearly their entire 53-man roster participating in practice, the team looks stronger and more cohesive than ever before.

Wide receiver Jauan Jennings made a notable return, appearing to reclaim his top spot on the depth chart. His welcome back was warm, with teammates like Fred Warner, Chase Lucas, and Jordan Elliott greeting him enthusiastically during the practice session. Jennings seamlessly integrated back into team drills, working alongside rookie Ricky Pearsall.

The receiving corps is looking particularly robust, with Russell Gage and Robbie Chosen also participating in full practice. The only roster member currently sitting out is rookie Jordan Watkins, who is recovering from a high ankle sprain sustained during the preseason.

Defensively, the team is showing promising signs of recovery. Yetur Gross-Matos made his 2025 practice debut after battling a lingering knee injury, participating with a substantial knee brace. Kalia Davis has also returned to the field after a brief absence, and is expected to play a significant role on the defensive line.

The offensive line is looking solid as well, with Dominick Puni returning to his starting right guard position after a knee injury during the preseason. This depth and resilience suggest the 49ers are entering the season with momentum and determination.

The team will take a brief rest on Tuesday before ramping up preparations for their divisional opener against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. With a healthy roster and renewed energy, the 49ers are signaling their intent to make a strong statement in the 2025 season.
