Oppo's New Foldable Phone Just Made Everyone Else's Look Outdated

Remember when people wouldn’t stop complaining about the crease on foldable phones? Yeah, that’s basically over now. Oppo just dropped the Find N6, and it’s the first foldable that actually makes that crease feel like a non-issue.
Here’s the wild part: the company used 3D liquid printing to fill in the gaps in the hinge, creating a smoother surface for the screen to sit on. The result? A crease that’s so subtle you’ll forget it’s there within minutes of using the phone. We’re talking barely visible when you tilt it in the light and only feelable if you actively try to feel it. Compared to Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold from last year, the difference is night and day.
But Oppo didn’t just nail the crease and call it a day. The Find N6 also rocks some seriously impressive multitasking software that lets you open up to four floating windows at once. Each window can be resized and moved around freely, and they stay active while you’re juggling apps. You can flip between floating mode and split-screen view with a couple taps, and the phone remembers where you left every window. No other foldable does this.
The stylus situation is solid too. The new AI Pen works on both the inner and outer screens, and it’s got this clever disappearing doodle feature that’s honestly pretty fun. The bundle with a charging case runs about $140.
On the hardware side, you’re getting an 8.93mm-thick phone that’s basically the same thickness as many regular flagships, about as thin as these foldables are getting until manufacturers ditch the USB-C port. The 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery easily gets you through a full day, even with heavy use of that 8.12-inch inner screen. Charging speeds are solid at up to 80W with Oppo’s SuperVooc charger.
The cameras are probably the biggest compromise here. The triple rear setup with a 200-megapixel main lens is excellent for a foldable, but it doesn’t match what Oppo delivers in its regular flagship phones. You’ll notice this mostly in low-light situations where it struggles a bit with bright light sources. But honestly, for a foldable phone, this camera system is genuinely great.
The real bummer? You probably can’t buy this phone. The Find N6 is only available in China, a few other Asian countries, Australia, and New Zealand. No US or European release means most of us are out of luck. If you can snag one in Australia, it’ll cost you around $2,300 USD.
If you’re actually in a position to grab the Find N6, it’s the foldable to get right now. The screen looks fantastic, the battery life is impressive, and the multitasking software is unmatched by anything else on the market. The only thing that might change that? An Apple iPhone Fold, which the tech world keeps whispering about.
