Get ready for a mind-blowing immersive entertainment experience that’s about to transform Pier 70 into a cutting-edge cultural playground. Elevation XR, a local entertainment company, is bringing a massive 165,000 square-foot attraction featuring three geodesic domes and a pyramid that promises to redefine how we experience live music and art.
The project, aptly named Elevation Skypark, will feature spectacular light displays reminiscent of the iconic Las Vegas Sphere, with exteriors that promise to create a visual spectacle. Music lovers can look forward to productions inspired by legendary bands like the Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Grateful Dead, and Daft Punk, complete with high-quality cover bands and immersive visual experiences.
Founder and CEO Sean Ahearn emphasizes the project’s deeper mission: to create a space where people can disconnect from digital life and reconnect through shared experiences. “In an age where so much of life is spent online, we’re inviting the community to step away from the everyday, look up, and engage with immersive experiences that spark wonder, reflection, and connection,” Ahearn explains.
The structures, currently being constructed in Europe, will be shipped to San Francisco and can accommodate approximately 2,500 people. Planned as an interim use for up to five years, Elevation Skypark is scheduled to open in early 2026, offering everything from live music and art to wellness events and educational experiences.
This innovative project comes at a time when Pier 70’s original development plans were paused due to the pandemic. Brookfield Properties’ creative interim solution promises to inject fresh energy and excitement into the San Francisco entertainment scene, celebrating the city’s renowned creativity and innovation.
Whether you’re a music enthusiast, art lover, or just looking for a unique night out, Elevation Skypark looks set to become the Bay Area’s next must-visit destination for unforgettable multisensory experiences.
