San Francisco’s beloved vintage housewares shop is making a major comeback, and vintage enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement. Stuff by Luxe, an offshoot of the original Stuff store, is preparing to open a massive 20,000-square-foot warehouse in the Mission District this September.

The new location at 1830 Harrison Street near 14th Street promises to be a game-changer for local vintage shoppers. Ha Kwan, a former vendor at the original Stuff, has not only secured the blessing of the original owners but also acquired their iconic large STUFF letters, which will adorn the new space.

With high ceilings and a bright, airy atmosphere more reminiscent of a high-end showroom than a traditional antique mall, the new shop aims to provide a fresh shopping experience. The space will feature curated sections from 40 to 50 different antique vendors, offering an extensive collection of vintage furniture, mid-century and Danish modern pieces, accessories, artwork, lamps, and housewares.

Kwan, who previously opened a Pacific Avenue location, emphasizes the convenience for long-time Stuff customers. The Harrison Street shop is strategically located near the original Valencia Street storefront, ensuring that loyal customers can easily rediscover their favorite vintage shopping destination.

The soft opening is scheduled for September 5, with a grand opening planned for October 4. Vintage lovers and design enthusiasts can look forward to exploring what promises to be the largest vintage consignment shop in the Bay Area.

Meanwhile, the original owners, Will Lenker and James Spinello, have retired and relocated to Hawaii, passing the torch to a new generation of vintage curators. With Stuff by Luxe, the spirit of the beloved vintage store lives on, continuing to celebrate San Francisco’s rich design heritage.
