In a desperate attempt to divert attention from the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein controversy, former President Donald Trump has launched a bizarre accusation against Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming she engaged in illegal campaign practices involving celebrities like Beyoncé and Oprah Winfrey.

Trump took to Truth Social, alleging that the Harris campaign paid $11 million for endorsements, which he claims is illegal. However, federal campaign filings reveal a drastically different story: the actual payment to Beyoncé’s production company was merely $165,000, primarily for travel and production costs.

The timing of these accusations is particularly noteworthy, as Trump continues to face intense scrutiny over his past relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Recent media coverage, including a provocative South Park episode and podcaster Joe Rogan’s changing stance, has kept the Epstein scandal in the spotlight.

When questioned about Epstein during a trip to Scotland, Trump provided yet another contradictory explanation of their relationship. His latest narrative suggests he distanced himself from Epstein after the financier repeatedly “stole” employees, which differs significantly from previous statements about their falling out.

Interestingly, Trump’s own past actions undermine his current accusations. He previously offered political positions in exchange for endorsements, directly contradicting his claims about the illegality of such transactions.

Experts and fact-checkers have consistently pointed out that paying for endorsements is not inherently illegal, further exposing the fragility of Trump’s claims. The Harris campaign has maintained that the payments were standard reimbursements for legitimate production expenses.

As the Epstein scandal continues to unfold, Trump’s attempts to redirect public attention appear increasingly desperate and transparent, revealing a pattern of creating sensationalist distractions when faced with challenging narratives.
