Hollywood’s most anticipated television celebration unfolded at the Peacock Theater, with streaming platforms and innovative series dominating this year’s Emmy Awards.

Apple TV+ emerged as the night’s powerhouse, with “The Studio” and “Severance” leading the charge. Seth Rogen’s comedy series made Emmy history by winning an unprecedented 13 awards, shattering the previous record of 11 set by “The Bear” last year.

In the drama categories, “The Pitt” and “Severance” captured significant recognition. Noah Wyle won Best Actor in a Drama Series for “The Pitt”, while Britt Lower claimed the Best Actress award for her role in “Severance”. Tramell Tillman also took home the Supporting Actor award for the same series.

The limited series category saw “Adolescence” shine bright, winning four awards including a remarkable achievement for 15-year-old Owen Cooper, who became the youngest Supporting Actor winner in the category’s history. Stephen Graham and Cristin Milioti also received top honors in their respective acting categories.

Comedian Nate Bargatze made his hosting debut, bringing his signature humor to the star-studded event. Other notable wins included “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” for Variety Series and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” taking home the Talk Series award.

In a touching moment, veteran actors Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen were honored with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award, recognizing their significant contributions beyond entertainment.

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards not only celebrated exceptional television but also highlighted the evolving landscape of storytelling across diverse genres and platforms.
