Get ready for a taste adventure that’s about to redefine California cuisine. Kappo, a new intimate dining experience nestled in Stanford Shopping Center, is set to launch its unique foraging-inspired tasting menu this December.

With just 12 seats and two nightly seatings, this restaurant promises an exclusive culinary journey that celebrates the diverse landscape of California. Chef Nikolas Neuwirt, a seasoned forager, hunter, and diver, is crafting a menu that tells a story of local ingredients and connection to nature.

Imagine savoring dishes like spiny lobster with sweet-crunchy chili or Mt. Lassen trout cured in yuzu, dried in cedar, and rolled in locally harvested nori. Each course is meticulously prepared to showcase the bounty of California’s oceans, forests, and farmers markets.

The winter tasting menu features nine carefully curated courses priced at $140 per person. Diners can choose from three beverage pairing options, including a non-alcoholic selection that complements the culinary narrative.

Brought to you by the Omakase Restaurant Group - known for the Michelin-starred Niku Steakhouse and popular Dumpling Time - Kappo represents a bold new approach to dining that prioritizes local ingredients and immersive experiences.

Located at 660 Stanford Shopping Center, this communal counter-style restaurant invites guests to not just eat, but to engage with a culinary story that celebrates California’s rich and diverse ecosystems. Reservations open December 3rd, promising a dining experience that’s as much about connection and craft as it is about exceptional food.
