Summer’s not over yet, and Niantic is making sure gamers go out with a bang. The tech company is hosting massive events for “Pokemon Go” and “Monster Hunter Now” that promise to deliver epic adventures and incredible gaming experiences for fans across the Bay Area and beyond.

For Pokemon trainers, the Pokemon Go Fest 2025: Max Finale is set to be a game-changer. This weekend event brings back Gigantamax Pokemon with intense Max Battles that will challenge even the most experienced players. Unlike traditional raids, these battles can involve up to 100 people and require strategic team planning. Players will need to carefully select a three-person team with different Max moves focused on shielding, healing, or offensive strategies.

The San Francisco event at Pier 39 adds an extra layer of excitement for local gamers. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, fans can enjoy interactive experiences, photo opportunities, and awesome giveaways including plush toys, pins, and posters. It’s a perfect chance for Bay Area gaming communities to come together and celebrate.

Meanwhile, “Monster Hunter Now” players have something special to look forward to with the debut of Fulgur Anjanath, a powerful new creature from “Monster Hunter Wilds”. This subspecies brings unique gameplay elements, including powerful Thunder-type weapons and innovative armor with a new “Vital Thunder” skill that dynamically adjusts weapon performance based on player health.

Players can expect increased monster spawns during the event, with special tickets offering enhanced hunting opportunities like unlimited paintballs and extended monster reappearance times. These additions promise to keep the gaming experience fresh and engaging.

Whether you’re a Pokemon trainer or a Monster Hunter enthusiast, Niantic’s end-of-summer events offer something for every mobile gaming fan. So grab your phone, team up with friends, and get ready for an unforgettable gaming weekend.
