Get ready for some behind-the-scenes tech drama coming to the big screen. A new Hollywood comedy called “Artificial” is currently shooting around San Francisco, capturing the wild saga of OpenAI’s dramatic leadership shake-up involving Sam Altman.

The film features an all-star cast including Andrew Garfield as Sam Altman, Jason Schwartzman, Monica Barbaro, and Ike Barinholtz playing Elon Musk. Actors have been spotted filming at iconic San Francisco locations like Dolores Park, Lombard Street, the Marina, and Stable Cafe.

Yura Borisov, known for his role in the Oscar-winning “Anora”, is portraying OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever - the key figure who initially engineered Altman’s temporary ouster from the company. The movie is being directed by Luca Guadagnino, known for the recent film “Challengers”.

Film crews have been capturing scenes across the city, with Reddit users and locals sharing glimpses of the production. From Sutskever’s dramatic boardroom maneuvers to Altman’s surprising comeback, the movie promises an inside look at one of tech’s most bizarre leadership dramas.

While details about the film’s release are still unclear, it’s being produced by Amazon/MGM Studios. Whether it’ll hit streaming platforms or theaters remains to be seen, but tech enthusiasts and drama lovers are already buzzing with anticipation.

With San Francisco serving as the backdrop, “Artificial” looks set to blend Silicon Valley intrigue with Hollywood storytelling, offering a cinematic take on a real-world tech narrative that captivated the global tech community just months ago.
