Meta's Nuclear Power Play: How Zuckerberg's AI Ambitions Are Reshaping Energy

The company has strategically secured partnerships with TerraPower, Oklo, and Vistra to generate a staggering 6.6 gigawatts of clean energy by 2035, with a primary focus on powering its Prometheus AI data center in New Albany, Ohio.

Meta’s deal with TerraPower alone will support the development of two new Natrium nuclear units capable of generating up to 690 megawatts of firm power, potentially delivering energy as early as 2032.
