Get ready to immerse yourself in a vibrant celebration of Italian culture right in the heart of San Jose this weekend. The eighth annual Little Italy San Jose festival is set to transform the historic district into a lively showcase of food, music, and automotive excellence.

The event promises an unforgettable experience with an impressive lineup that goes far beyond your typical street festival. At the center of this year’s celebration is the Guglielmo family, honoring their Morgan Hill winery’s remarkable 100-year legacy. Visitors can explore a special exhibit at the Little Italy Museum and sample their award-winning wines in the dedicated Wine Garden.

Foodie lovers will be in paradise with an incredible array of culinary offerings. Local restaurants like Paesano, Henry’s Hi-Life, and the trendy Bibo’s will serve up mouthwatering Italian classics. Expect to find delectable offerings from Original Joe’s, Sorelle, and unique pizza selections from La Fenice. Social service organizations like the Tricarico Club will also prepare traditional favorites such as polenta and sausage.

The musical lineup is equally impressive, featuring talented performers like accordionist Cory Pesatauro and jazz artist Vanessa Racci. The headlining act, acclaimed tenor Pasquale Esposito, will take the stage in the afternoon, promising a truly memorable musical experience. Opera San Jose singers will also provide enchanting performances throughout the day.

For automotive enthusiasts, the Supercars of Italy showcase is a can’t-miss attraction. Featuring 55 stunning Italian automotive masterpieces from legendary brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati, the Arena Green East will become a paradise for car lovers and photographers.

The festival offers something for everyone, with additional attractions including museum tours, train rides, arts and crafts booths, and a post-festival after-party at the Italian Cellar Speakeasy. With free admission and a full day of entertainment from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., this is one community event you won’t want to miss.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 5th, and head to 323 W. St. John St. in San Jose’s Little Italy district for a day of cultural celebration, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences.
