Outside Lands just dropped its 2026 lineup and honestly, it’s giving main character energy. Charli xcx, RÜFÜS DU SOL, The xx, and The Strokes are headlining the festival, which means August is about to be absolutely unhinged in Golden Gate Park.

For the first time ever, Outside Lands is letting early-bird ticket buyers actually see the lineup before committing to a three-day pass. Yeah, that might sound basic, but it’s actually a huge move. Apparently, Another Planet Entertainment finally realized that dropping $445 (plus fees) sight unseen is kind of a gamble when there are literally a million other festivals happening. So they’re giving folks the tea upfront, and we’re here for it.

Charli xcx is coming off the buzz of scoring the Wuthering Heights remake soundtrack and has a solid local following after her warehouse set at Portola Fest back in 2022, which, if you remember, got a little too wild and caused a stampede situation. She’s definitely leveled up since then. The xx and RÜFÜS DU SOL actually appeared at Portola Fest too (in 2022 and 2024 respectively), so there’s definitely a connection between what’s working at the city’s other major festival and what’s landing here.

The Strokes are the “legacy” act this year and will probably close out either Saturday or Sunday, which is exactly what you’d want from them. But the lineup goes way deeper than just the headliners. You’ve got Labrinth, Empire of the Sun, Baby Keem, Death Cab for Cutie, Wet Leg, and Tinashe all on the bill. Plus, there’s a whole electronic and dance component happening in the SOMA area with sets from Boys Noize, Lane 8, Boris Brejcha, and Miss Monique.

If you’ve been to Outside Lands before, you were eligible for the Loyalty Presale, which started at noon on Tuesday. If you weren’t already registered, you can still sign up for the presale and snag a code to buy tickets starting Wednesday at noon PT. General sales kick off Thursday at noon, and yeah, prices go up then.

Three-day GA passes start at $445 (plus $64 in fees), GA+ is $699 (plus $80 fees), and VIP runs $1,150 (plus $99 fees). If you’re really about that life, the Golden Gate Club ultra-VIP experience will set you back $4,895 before fees.

The festival is turning 18 and runs August 7-9, so mark your calendars. This is shaping up to be one for the books.
