They’re also requesting waivers for building height, setback requirements, and parking configurations - indicating a flexible approach to urban development.

This initiative is part of a broader trend in Walnut Creek, with another proposed 112-unit apartment complex planned near downtown, replacing a miniature golf course. These projects signal a proactive approach to urban densification and affordable housing creation.
