Tech innovation has reached a new frontier in pet care with Whisker’s latest Litter-Robot 5 Pro, a smart litter box that’s more than just a waste management system. This futuristic device uses artificial intelligence to track and analyze your cat’s bathroom habits, promising to revolutionize how pet owners monitor their feline friends’ health.

The Litter-Robot 5 Pro comes packed with cutting-edge features, including two AI-powered cameras designed to recognize your cat’s face and monitor their waste. One camera focuses on facial recognition, while the other tracks litter box activity, providing unprecedented insights into your pet’s health patterns.

At $899, this isn’t a budget-friendly gadget, but it offers a subscription service called Whisker Plus for $7.99 monthly that provides detailed analytics of your cat’s bathroom behavior. The system can distinguish between different types of waste and promises quicker waste removal for better odor control.

Whisker has also introduced two additional models: the Litter-Robot 5 at $799 and the more affordable Litter-Robot Evo at $599. All models can accommodate multiple cats and connect to a smartphone app for remote monitoring.

The standout feature is the optional PetTag, an RFID device priced at $29 that helps the robot identify pets, especially useful for households with similar-looking cats. This tag also functions as a digital ID, with a QR code that can be scanned if your pet gets lost.

For tech-savvy cat owners who are passionate about their pets’ health, the Litter-Robot 5 Pro represents a significant leap in pet care technology. While the price point might be steep, the potential for early health detection could make it a worthwhile investment for those who want to stay ahead of their cat’s wellness.
